Cast your memory back to Pebble Beach in August earlier this year and you might recall Aston's announcement regarding the new
Vanquish Zagato family
At the time, we were shown the Speedster and only given glimpses of the Shooting Brake; today it's the turn of the latter.
Only 325 Zagato models are to be built, with 99 slots going to the Shooting Brake, Coupe and Volante, and the Speedster getting 28, with the assumption that all examples have already been assigned. All models will get the slightly tweaked 600hp version of the V12 found in the Coupe - but the Zagato family is obviously more about the enhanced looks than performance.
With four new images we now get a better look at the carbon fibre roof which features an ice scraper style glass inlay. There is very little additional information although you can be sure that anyone lucky enough to be on the waiting list has a slightly better idea of what they're buying.
Of course, if you're pining for a V12-engined 2+2 shooting brake, there are alternatives: Ferrari has been knocking out the four-wheel-drive FF since 2011 - a car since replaced with the GTC4Lusso.
