Goodwood Revival: Pic of the Week

Our Pic of the Week comes from the paddocks at last weekend's Goodwood Revival. That much is obvious though, because it's the kind of photo you could really only take at Goodwood Revival. Spare tyres and tool boxes at the ready - you'll find no electronic diagnostic gizmos there - a beautiful, track prepped classic taking centre stage on its jack, and in amongst it all a man, thoroughly inappropriately dressed for the job, frantically fettling the car.

This particular car is a 1963 AC Cobra, entered in the Revival's showpiece RAC TT Celebration race by Bill Shepherd and driven to 15th place overall by him and Richard Attwood. It may not have been the fastest machine on the grid then, but it was certainly one of the most beautiful!

Even more like this at Le Mans Classic.

But is it real or a tool room copy? (See 64 GTO thread) And I'm sure the number plate police would have a thing or two to say about the font...
