It was an option, not standard on the ED30. The vendor should confirm but I believe the buttons on the end of the left hand stalk are for the cruise control. It is possible to retrofit these so it may not be factory fit. Thanks
It’s limited to a couple of very small specs as per the photo below. It’s been like that since I bought the car and hasn’t got any worse. Same on both sides.
It was recently inspected by a VW specialist garage which also does bodywork and they didn’t raise any concern.
