Hi Ted,

Just wondering whether it would be possible to have an RSS feed of the forum's sections, and maybe the first post, so that someone could subscribe to "website feedback", or "business" etc?

I have the dynamic RSS ASP file if you want it, wrote it for a site a while ago. You're more than welcome to it.

Yep, I've got all the forums working via XML now so it will be coming.

Sorry to bring a thread back from the dead, but I was about to ask if you had any plans on adding RSS. Lucky I searched for it first... repost police would have had me...

Both give me feed not found or connection failed. Tried different proxy configs but it could be being blocked by the company servers. Will try again later on a different PC/connection

I hope your not meaning a certain topic in:
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?f=42&h=0
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/rss_forum.asp?f=42
hehe

Obviously that one was too easy for Ted. To extend the challenge, can it be done on per topic or could you provide an RSS feed that told if you any of the threads in "My Topics" changed?

yikes Mrs Torch would not be amused.

On the Mac you can have a RSS feed as spinning text, looks great. The Porsche forum:

Now if we could have What's New - Last Vist, that'd be perfect.

Ooh, that is snazzy. I'm just setting up my sidebar in Vista to show certain rss feeds

thansk for pointing me who whoever moved my last post!

The reason I didn't know it was RSS enabled was because I expecetd to see a link on the forum pages to the related RSS feeds - surely this wouldn't be too hard? Then makes it very easy to integrate with www.netvibes.com and the like
