Despite my best efforts with search, I can't find the thread that describes the fix for a faulty MIL lamp. All assistance gratefully received.

No MIL or Buzzer - ever. Don't have the car with me now but will check D7 and Fuse as soon as I do.

I would check the fuse, if it's busted? do a search for 'pico fuse' 500ma.

If you can wait I'll bring one to Chatsworth, assuming one is going thumbup

Oh, and for reference putting a diode in position marked D7 causes the buzzer to sound when the hand brake is applied, very annoying wobble

Many thanks, and yes I'll be at Chatsworth, but I'll try to get it resolved before then. Do you know if I need a quick (F) or slow (T) fuse?

I had the fuse blow on mine Paul, its a simple fix, easy to test with a meter and solder in a new one. You might be able to get one from maplins although can't remember where i got mine from.

I should have paid more attention to your post - when I checked it seemed to say

"F 1 / 2A"

So I ordered 2A fast blowing - in fact it is a 1/2Amp fuse as you said. Anyway I now have a working MIL light, and the handbrake light is on permanently - Doh!
