Hi All,
After the success of the November and December meets, we've just about got time to squeeze in a January meet!

Anybody fancy Saturday 29th Jan, 12:30 at The Woodman in Ide Hill?

Would be great if we can get as many cars as in November - 40!!!

So, who's up for it?

Iain

I would if its an open invitation to all.
I think I can pluck up enough courage to attend my first meet.

Paul

Why dont you come to the local TVRCC meet?? The next one is on Monday 24th Jan at The Rose & Crown, London Road, Dunton Green. We should get 20 - 30 cars on the night. Contact me via my profile if you want more details.

I will put the word out for the 29th to the local TVR massif - should be ok as we dont have anything else on that weekend.

Sounds good.
Perhaps there may be a V6 engine expert there who could tell me why my Tasmin doesn't 'sound so good' at the moment. Runs well but I am getting a weird engine noise.
Any Ford V6 engine gurus planning to be at the Woodman?
Cheers
Nads

I assume there's little chance of that then...

Anybody else around on Saturday?

You missed the snow and the panicked exodus of those who didn't want to sully their cars or risk driving on slippy stuff!

Gentle acceleration in 5th while on the gritted M25 going home around 11:30 caused wheelspin, so I think they might have had the right idea!

Good meet though and plenty of people coming along on Saturday

Paul, when did you get it back and what was the problem in the end?

If you are talking about the clutch it was fixed after three days slave cylinder seals went, I also got them to check over the master cylinder which was ok. The warrenty paid all the costs so that was ok. It went back for a 6000 mile service over the new year while I was away in Scotland for a week. Had some wishbone and damper bushes replaced. The car is running better than ever now.

Hopefully will have time to come along. Assuming I don't get lost and non-TVRs are welcome
