Crikey.. I spent my yoof on hols in Eastbourne and the most interesting thing I saw was a zimmer frame.

Indeed a classy gaff as Mr Clary put it. I was in Torridon this time last year but I think the presence of two Labradoodles put paid to my chances of seeing any wildlife!

Out of interest - see how different the light is in winter when we get high pressure from the north, not south. Not most people's cup of tea I know, but it's when I like it the best up here. BTW I mentioned to DD - for anyone interested ITV tomorrow (Sunday) night 7 pm - Julian Clary did some Pine Marten filming from my house - it finally made it through the edit. I've no idea what it's like… but you'll be pleased to know I stay WELL behind the camera.

Agree completely about the light btw - been up once in the winter and it was definitely sharper

Just watched that earlier and i said to the missus and my lad that you had some great shots of Pine Martens in your garden a while back. And when it showed the famous Carter island and then the "classy" house i thought it must be! Great show actually

Was off out to pick up junior tonight and noticed the sky looking promising so grabbed the 100D + Tamron - no tripod, no filters and only 5 minutes to spare!
