Or the Ship???

According to their website the windmill serves food until 9:30

No idea about the Ship... it doesn't have a website which isn't surprising as it hasn't left the 1970s.
That last comment 'it hasn't left the 1970's' nearly made me choke on my toast! Just made me laugh. Thank you!!

thumbup It really hasn't changed. When was the last time you saw a bar billiards table?

I thought you were too young to know about Red Barrel! I'm sure the last time I saw it was on London about 30 yeras ago

Guys

I'm trying to chase the pub at the moment as I haven't heard back from them. Having been suffering from bird flu most of this week so my head is only just about getting back to somewhere near normal.

Will confirm the details a little later today

Not it's much much worse! biggrin

OK, usual pub will be closed on Sunday due to family reasons, so I'll be heading up that way this evening to find us somewhere else for this run.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a pub which does food on a sunday evening and has a decent carpark out that Thornbury-ish way?

Huntsman is the usual place, which will be closed on Sunday.

So far I have the following to go and check out...
Plough Inn @ Pilning
Swan Inn @ Thytherington
Anchor @ Oldbury

OK guys we have a pub sorted for Sunday.

We will be finishing at The Masons Arms (Brewers Fare) on the A38. It's only a few minutes away from the last tunnel so not as far to travel and they serve food until 9:30pm. They are also willing to rope off a section of the pub for us so that we can sit together rather than being scattered around the pub. With this in mind, can you please let me know by Sunday AM if you will be bring a passenger with you so that I can give them a rough idea of numbers.

So plan is…

Meet in Staples car park for 4pm, aim to leave around 4:30pm. Hopefully this should have given enough time for the shoppers to bugger of and leave the roads to us and give us time to re-group along the way biggrin
