Should do, V8S is away for a few days. Watch this space.

Yes, this is going ahead. Not sorted a pub yet but 18th November is the date. Most likely we'll start around the Cheddar area as it's fairly central.

Hi Giles,

Plan is the same in that it's definitely happening on the 18th in the mid Somerset area. Weather permitting of course.

This weekend I'm going to scout out some of the pubs and drive the routes and clues to see if they're suitable.

We'll meet for around noon at the pub and I'll give out the clues / tasks and answer sheets ready for a 12.30 start. You'll all bugger off for a good blat to find the answers and return when you like and I'll add up the scores.

The top 3 teams get a prize and the envious jeers of the others... I mean ... polite applause.

I envisage the driving taking about 60-90 minutes so it's not too long. The clues won't be difficult or require local knowledge, and hopefully not be available via Google! Then we can all come back and perhaps eat together at the pub.

It should be a good laugh.

It will not only be a treasure hunt based on a vague route of decent roads, but will also include some puzzles and fairly easy multiple choice trivia about car stuff.

I'm looking forward to this. Me and Sleithykeithy did one a couple of years ago, although we may have missed a few clues due to driving a bit too quickly to ensure that we got to the track for the autotest first!

Sounds good but it's the same weekend as the NEC classic show.

What better way to show your wife you love her than taking her to both the NEC and a nice pub filled with nice people?

Hmmm, I'm going to need a navigator. Wouldn't fancy doing it solo. Will have to consult a few people.

It's going to be fairly easy with postcodes for some of the questions. Navigator not strictly required.

Haha, my navigator will certainly be more of a hinderance than a help!

Many experiences, including PH runs, are vastly improved by a screaming lady though!!
