£501.00 insurance renewal from Mr Flux!

I am with Classicline too. Best quote, best service, includes full breakdown cover including Europe, 6 track days a year.

Last week I rang them about one of our Saabs. Two younger drivers as well as me. Nodding dog wanted £425 on renewal. Meerkat wanted £273 (Tescos). Classicline quoted £277, Equity Red Star, same as my TVR, including all the extras apart from trackdays, without knowing the other quotes. We've gone with them, not least because you always get through to the right person within 60 seconds of dialing.
Edited to remove a stray apostrophe in "Saabs" that auto-correct inserted without me noticing

I've just insured with Mannings for the first time and they were brilliant. Won't touch forced induction but other power mods just cost 10% premium load per 10% power hike (after the first 10% I think). Other mods such as suspension don't carry anything. Track day and foreign trip cover as standard. TVRCC discount. You can use any specialist for any claim (including windscreen). They also do related car policies (not the standard multi-car) and gave me 10 years no-claims on the second car when I'd only actually built up 2 on a stand-alone. Tuscan and Fiat 500 cost me abour £550 together (think the Tuscan was about £330 out of that) and I'm no longer TVRCC so that's without discount.
Couldn't get beyond the first question with Footman James - Thatcham approved alarm installation (not sure how any TVR owner is getting past this).

I used to be with Mannings when I first had the car. Cover was fine until I needed more miles, at which point they just said "no". Hence the change to the far more flexible Classic Line. Only issue with them, if you call it an issue, is that their inclusive track day cover is limited to 6 a year, after which it costs £53 per event.
