A lovely S4 drove past me the other day and it turned my head more than many modern cars like the gallardo, f430 etc.

Yup. Always had more than just a soft spot for these, reckon they're probably one of the best designs on the road, ever. Timeless.

Now the weathers good I'm missing it like crazy and biffing around in a £395 Citroen AX 10E while it has it's annual service and an X-Pipe fitted.

The most exciting thing about the AX being it's 1 star NCAP rating.

It's the 'man from Aberdeen' here! Stumbled across this thread and thought I should post a reply. It's been almost 2 years now since I bought the car from Rafe (nice chap) and I'm still loving it. Everywhere you go people comment on the stunning looks and give it the old 'you don't see many of these around anymore', took it to a show last week and the red 80's Carrera parked next to it never got a look in! And then theres the noise of the V8 through the X-pipe and RMB exhaust, pure wounded tiger! Awesome in a straight line and not half bad through the corners for such a bruiser. Have changed the wheels for the slightly later cup 2's and fitted a flex plate clamp but other than that it's just been the usual servicing so far. If you've every thought about getting a 928 my advice is do it now before the prices rise any further you won't regret it!
