Brendan at Raceproved bodyshop showed me the panels for 'mk2' Cerberas and explained that the matting is different / lighter. News to me etc (assuming I correctly understood what he was saying).
Is your car in the REGISTER I created?

Thank you nemasis for filling me in with a little more history on my Cerbera. I'm now wondering if all three cars built during that time were Red Rose conversions. I know it has every option TVR supplied at the time.

After a little more in depth delving the three other special engined cars were all full red rose packages.

Cheers for the extra delving. The first owner must of had very deep pockets 10 years ago. I was very lucky to buy this Cerbera, very very lucky.

Nemasis. Sometime back you said if you had time you would type up the full spec on the factory redrose. Any chance in the near future?

i have another question sort of related for nemasis

on the build sheet etc of my cerbera it says it had a prototype ECU fitted to it as an upgrade, whats that all about then!?

also later in its life this ECU caused all sorts of issue with the aircon and was swapped out for an "original" one!?

any ideas?

To Nemasis, if while you were looking at your list - if there were any special notes on my 96 Cerbera 4.2 (delivered in dec) - as far it goes I think it was a bog standard 4.2.

But it would interesting to know how early the car is as it seems a relatively low chassis number?

ends: J012003

That's right, just made me chuckle. It seems when people set up their "Garage" PH sorts them into a "Owners Register" which you are on knowingly or not.

Home page, click TVR, click owner's register
http://www.pistonheads.com/tvr/owners.asp

There you are ,3 time's on the "Register"
Owner Car Notes

Gazzab Cerbera Fab car BUT look at the running costs!! £13K in 2 yrs. PLUS petrol and insurance!!!

Gazzab Cerbera Another fantastic Cerb ! Again I had to rebuild the engine and spend a fortune keeping her going. House sale etc forced sale (just after I spent a fortune getting her near perfect).

Gazzab Cerbera

lets hope TVRUnoficialBlog knows this or he may think you are being Sniffy with him;)

There are 29 Cerbera Lightweights in the Register(and surely someone is doubled). Frustrating!
