I removed myself from the list as I couldn't make it which is a shame as I'd liked to have gone back to Corbeau as many years ago I bought a couple of their seats direct from the factory and then a number of years later I went back so they could be re-covered smile

Thanks to PH and Corbeau for organising the meet/tours yesterday.
I found it very interesting and my old man certainly enjoyed it.

Was slightly disappointed at the number of cars that turned up vs. the number on the list but there was still a good variety of metal. Loved the viper and learning a thing or two from the passionate owner, great stuff!

Looking forward to the next Sunday Service I can attend smile

Again, echoing everyone else's sentiments, big thanks to PH and Corbeau Seats for putting on the morning, it was a real experience to have a factory tour and see how the seats and harnesses are made.

Great bunch that did turn up and great to chat to the owners. Mark, that Viper was something else and respect to the Ferarri 458 owner, brave choice on the colour scheme but it looks fantastic!

Had a really good morning so thank you to the PH and Corbeau teams for organising it. Living 5 minutes away obviously made it more appealing but would have travelled further for it. Car is now sporting its PH logo on its rear.

Good meet yesterday, small and exclusive! :-) Not sure too many more would've fitted on the tours around the office so it was just right I'd say, and it was really interesting to hear about all the different parts that go into making a seat. Trouble is, I came away with expensive ideas for new seats with custom artwork...

It was the most poorly attended PHSS I've ever been to, and the worst organised as well in terms of food & drink. However, it was also one of the more enjoyable ones I've ever been to! biggrin

The extra half hour earlier made it a bit quieter which I actually liked, and it seemed that people stayed a bit longer too. The factory tour was superb, incredibly eye opening as I'd always imagine Corbeau to be this huge company, but when you realise it's just a handful of people and the wonderful craftsmanship they turn out... Well, impressed isn't the word. I will DEFINITELY be going back to get some custom seats made up soon. Nice run down too, catching a fellow PHer in a blue MX5 to join our convoy from the M25 was a nice change (good to meet you fella, sorry I've forgotten your name).

Very relaxed day, genuinely interesting and the staff were friendly as well as knowledgeable. Many thanks for everyone at Corbeau & PH for organising, more PHSS like this please!

But yeah, no burger van on site was unforgiveable wink

Our pleasure..

The next one is for the classic and Sports Car show at Alexandra Palace on the 1st. The one after that will be announced tomorrow and I think you will all 'rally' like it.. Hint hint.

laugh

I was wanting Fushia Pink not Magenta Pink Jeremy otherwise they would clash with my seat covers.

Very sad hearing the story behind the Luke Brand frown Always did wonder where the name came from.

Thanks Ollie & the PH team for organising this. Of course, thanks also to the people at Corbeau for giving up their time on a Sunday (and Jeff Smith for getting the drinks and sandwiches - maybe a tad overqualified to drive to the cafe).

Another good sunday service, thanks guys.

Definitely worth another trip, hopefully with a better turnout. Maybe net time organise some drinks and food though!

We did.
Went to an amazing place near Warrior Square in Hastings. Meal of stuffed vine leaves, olives, humous, salad and pita bread with coffee. Vegetarian delight - and they served meaty stuff too.

Not the best event. Coffee etc would have been better, and a slightly more welcoming MD.

That's why you missed the Coffee / Tea / Sandwich run that Corbeau organised.
