Anyone know whats happening regarding entry on the Thurs for the 'Moving' motor show?
Is it dealer invite only, or just turn up on the day? The ticket site seems to have no info. on this so far.

Yes,

seems a bit odd to announce it prior to those details being available

It's not a press only day, you can tell that from the wording of the press release

"New cars buyers will be able to enjoy an exclusive motor show preview day, where they will not only be able to see the very latest new car models on display, but also climb aboard and experience the vehicles first-hand"

Though I suppose that could be taken to mean people invited by dealers etc?

Hard to know what to do here? extra day off work? Is it free? do I get myself a test drive with a dealer? Lets face who wouldn't want a demo/test drive up 'THE' Hill, in almost anything ?
Watching this space closely !

Yes, I am curious about the same thing. Good bit of detail released on what will go on for Thursday but strangely not a single thing about tickets or who will qualify to get in. Hhhmmmm.

Chaps,

The Goodwood Moving Motor Show tickets have gone on sale today, and PistonHeads is an official media partner for the event. We'll be at the event over the weekend and announcing details of the full line up of cars for the event as they emerge.

I booked my ticket at the goodwood ticket office last week which with my grrc discount cost me £18. The details were 'leaked' by Autocar or someone like that despite being told not to. Not all details have been finalised or at least details released and tickets dispatch is slow at the moment due to printing probs. Tickets are limited (I'm guessing to about 10-20000?) so get them early. Who'd have thought 4 DAYS of Festival of Speed!!!!! Can't wait

PistonHeads and Autocar are both media sponsors of the Moving Motor Show at Goodwood. We'll be revealing more details of some of the cars to be seen at the event on our homepage this week, but it's shaping up really rather well.

The team will be at the event and we'll have a big stand so any PHers can drop by for a natter.

More details soon.
