Chassis RAL code

I've been waiting to see the answer too! I have a strip of chassis paint that's peeled off the fuel filter bracket and I'm going to take it in to my local paint factor. I'll post the matched up numbers in due course.... Unless somebody else comes out of the woodwork.
I've tried blending black and white smoothrite as some have suggested - its ok and will do as an undercoat/primer on the rusty bits, but I'd like a proper match.

Yep, I did the same. You can get it close but not quite right. The original paint has a slight tint of green in it which can't be matched mixing black and white. Somebody must know. Eagerly awaiting your post Geoff as I'm in the middle of an underbody clean up as we speak.I've tried blending black and white smoothrite as some have suggested - its ok and will do as an undercoat/primer on the rusty bits, but I'd like a proper match.
This any good...

YRRunner & Ant - got some paint mixed today..... Just a small sample to try, but we settled on RAL 7038 using 383M polyurethane paint as the best match for my Tam's chassis colour. I had a strip of paint that had peeled off the fuel filter clamp, though it was a bit dark and the boys at the factors got under the car at various points to try and get as close a match as poss.
I just need to try the mix and see how it dries before going back for a proper amount to brush on. But I'm feeling confident and it'll be streets better than a blend of black and white smoothsh*te.....
Hope this helps.

This link may help you identify your chassis colour which is from a late 2004 model.

I have checked a spare spray can I have in the garage tonight and it is labelled ALC-0367 Grey T130 gloss. You could try contacting the supplier through their web site, they have been very helpful to me over the years and provide custom aerosol filling to your exact colour, and a nationwide mail order service.
