Real long-shot this but originally my Sagaris had the above boot badge. Does anyone know who would have originally made it, since I want to get another manufactured. The photo was taken at the 'launch' of the Sagaris RT in Dec 04. Alternately, does anyone know of a company that could make me one?

Is it just the domed badge you need? If so I used these to make mine up:

Ha! Beat you smile

Make sure you make it crystal clear what you want as they made mine wrong the first time.

Yup, the one on the rear of the car. Did you supply an example, so they could get the dimensions correct, or did they just use photos? Were you pleased with their work?

Ha 'real time' posting...tks both. How did you ensure they got it right second time around?

I sent them the original T350 badge and asked them to change it to T400R, they did that right but they put the R in red rather than silver like I asked, not a problem really just a mistake, they are so cheap I had four made up three with the standard background and one with a carbon fibre background, quality is fine and the one I have on the car has lasted longer than the £30 plinth I bought at the same time from racing greencry

How much were they?

I quite fancy a new 'TVR' badge for the front as the chrome outer is damaged slightly.

Mattt,
If the badge on the front of the T350 is still the one I fitted, it was powder coated by a local company. If you change the front you may well need to change the back so that the outer parts match.

Here is the post when I had the badges done:

Thanks yeah it's probably the same - I guess it was damaged by the paint shop when they repainted the nose. You can see black on the lower part, not a big deal, but nice to have it perfect.

I know the company that supplied TVR, although not sure about that specific badge as i guess there were only a few made, but they made

Tuscan badges etc.

They will not supply TVR badges directly due to contract, they supply Multipart http://tvr-multipart.com/default.html with badges so you could try going through them to see if they can source if you want an original one?

Or for a resin domed one you could go through a vast number of companies as they are quite easy to make with the corect equipment.

Heko have just done me a Red Rose badge for the back of my 350 from a picture I mailed them. Fantastic service and cheap as chips so bought 4 for around £20. Will post pics but standard and badge type equals the standard TVR item. Result is a near perfect reproduction.

Picture as promised, lettering is in Chrome silver, background gloss black with a very fine silver edging. Size fits standard oval plinth sold by various people.

Took a pic on the car in garage but doesn't show very well.

Hmm...That looks like a fairly exact copy of a badge I designed and made a few years back!!! Did you photograph a badge on a car and send it to them to copy?

I produced a set comprising the badge you show and a pair of handed smaller ones, with just the rose design on, to fit on the front wing, nested against the indicator repeaters. I still have a stack of them.

The font used by TVR on most of the badges is ITC Galliard Bold Italic. I used this for the Red Rose badge, but the "R" is not the same font- it is hand drawn, modified from another font, but I cannot remember what. Sorry I did not reply to your PM- I received it at work, and needed to get the info from home.
