Ride Drive has revised its Bruntingthorpe track day to make the course even longer -- and it could be safer too.
Longer than the main sprint circuit, the 2.1-mile fast and flowing course features a number of high-speed corners that can be driven hard and fast up to 100mph. This unique circuit, designed exclusively for Ride Drive by an experienced track day organiser, gives everyone a bit of everything.
There's a series of S-bends where discipline is required to bring the speed right down and to remain on the right line to complete the complex under control, plus straights long enough to get most cars out of breath. Average track time will be five hours or more, so everyone can have loads of fun.
This will be running along side the main event all through the day and is a tight twisting and demanding course run against the clock designed is such a way so as to provoke vehicle control loss. It's definitely the best way to explore your own limits and that of your car.
Vehicles will be run on the course one at a time and will sort out the men from the boys or the women from the girls. There is an instructor on hand all through the day on this one.
