TVR Sagaris at Dream Machines
Dream Machines has teamed up with Ride Drive to offer driving training alongside its TVR and Lotus performance car hire scheme.
Julian Smith of Ride Drive said: “This is a major development for us, as it now means that the Ride Drive customer does not have to own a TVR or Lotus to complete our High Performance Advanced Driving Experience, opening it up to a much wider audience. By including the Ride Drive package the customer can really get to know what the car is all about without having to buy one beforehand.
"It also gives us the opportunity to help people understand that they can live with a car like this and that it is possible to have a lot of fun with it in a safe and responsible manner, even in today’s road environment.”
Smith said he believes that, without specialist input, anyone who owns or drives a high powered machine will probably only extract about 25 per cent of the car's potential.
He said: “We are not suggesting that people don't have the ability to own or drive a car like a TVR, it’s just that they may not have been given the opportunity to acquire the level of specialist knowledge necessary to get the best from the car on the road.
"We can do that, and in a very pleasant manner. It’s all about getting the most out of driving it, and that doesn’t mean charging around the public roads like a lunatic either. Advanced road driving isn’t about high speed, it is about producing a smooth, progressive and flowing drive where the driver doesn’t just drive the car, but where he or she becomes part of it, so that the two are working in partnership.”

Dream Machines will, for a small additional charge, deliver the car to your door and collect it afterwards. All cars are either new or no more than nine months old, all are the latest models and specifications.
