The Roadster's roof is more of a nod to weather-proofing than a reality as it takes so long to fit in place. Many owners don't bother with it and only use the car in guaranteed good weather. With the roof in place, it leaks and creates more wind noise than when it's removed.
Any static pics must have the doors up. Fact
Front and rear bumpers are prone to scratches and other people's careless parking. Repainting is the only way to solve this, but it can be tricky to match some of the metallic Lamborghini colours. A clear vinyl wrap after painting will help ward off stone chips and minor damage. This will also help protect other vulnerable body sections like the sills and rear wing edges.
Corrosion should not be an issue on any Murcielago that's been properly looked after, but there are some cars out there with rust appearing along the bottoms of the doors. With the scissor doors, it's much easier to inspect this area, so run your finger along the length of the door and feel for any unevenness.

"Mine was a 2003 car with a manual gearbox in Arancio with a black and orange interior. It also had the later LP640 rear light clusters fitted which I think is a nice upgrade."
