Interiors can start to look shabby if not cared for. Getting in and out needs care to avoid scuffing shoes against the leather on the seats and on the door sills. The seats' bolsters and squabs become saggy with age and use, so budget for having these repaired if you spot any wear. Some cars had electrically adjusted seats, but this was only for the backrest angle.
The stereo system in early Murcielagos were quite basic by today's standards and sat-nav wasn't an option, so this is one less thing to worry about. However, a lot of cars will have aftermarket stereos and navigation, so make sure they work or you're prepared to replace them.
Check the central locking works from the key fob and when in the car using the locking button. This can be a sporadic problem, so don't be surprised if it rears up after buying a car. You should also check all of the other electric controls from the driver's seat, particularly on cars that have been left standing for prolonged periods. A trickle charger can help here, but regular use is better still.
PHer's view:
"The seat is comfy for long distances, but you do have to get used to the offset pedals. It may have been built under Audi's ownership, but the Murcielago is still a traditional Lambo."Roger Spence
