Hi everyone
I've just signed up, but struggling to post a new thread in General Gassing.
Whether I click Submit or Preview, I always get a pop up saying "Validation failed. Please refresh the page and try again."
Refreshing does nothing. I've verified my email account.
I’m in the same position-so frustrating I've just signed up, but struggling to post a new thread in General Gassing.

New member here trying to post a new forum discussion thread but when trying to submit just keep getting ‘not validated’’. Help appreciated
Hi Jim, you should be able to start a new discussion thread, which forum are you trying to start one in?Well I’ve tried the car buying forum and also the brakes suspension etc forum countless times now. So frustrating, and yet it’s letting me post this here ?

Thank you for reporting this. Unfortunately this issue affects a very small number of new registered users, and you are clearly one of them. This should pass after 14 days.OMI Wheels said:
Hello,
Thank you for approving my account.
I own a alloy wheel company and wish to know if you have Alloy wheel forums and are we allowed to mention on website in topics?
Thanks,
Alex

We don't have an alloy wheel forum, but do have a dedicated Bodywork & Detailing forum.
The Posting Rules do not allow you to advertise your business on the forums.
Hi all.
Looking forward to learning more on this forum.
From Western Australia and currently in the process of restoring a family 1949 Series 1 Land Rover, still have my first car (a 1964 Austin Healey Sprite that was originally my Dad’s) and a 1951 Mk6 Bentley.
Currently contemplating adding a 1960s GT to the mix and hopefully - when funds (and wife) allow it - an Austin Healey 3000.
I am a big fan of British cars - my second car was a 1972 Rover 3500 and for many years I had a 1978 MGB GT (which I have always regretted selling).
Cheers
James

Hi all iam a avid enthusiast of cars since a young age and am self taught in all areas of our wonderful machines that we find so much pleasure from not just the car but everything else connected and what it brings to us all like the same minded people who appreciate the engineering and handling of these. Machines and not to leave out their beauty too, my cars of choice have been the mk1 and now mk2 scirocco which I only have recently purchased the mk2 but the mk1 is. Long left it’s stable anyway I am looking forward to enjoying Al the knowledge available from like minded car lovers and hope I can contribute to the knowledge also. To all sweep the corners and be true to the car.
Hi all,
I've been directed to PH by various people, but I have a question for the admins/mods.
I wish to make a post, but after reading the rules, I'm not sure how rules 7 and 'd' might affect the post being allowed, in my case? Also, if it were allowed, which forum.
I'm more than happy to PM you what would be the post in the first instance?
Thank you.

I cannot find anywhere where it shows how to post a new topic????
Hi, welcome to PH.If you are using the main site then at the top of each forum is a button marked ‘start new topic’, if you are on the mobile site (using a phone) then the ‘start new topic’ is at the foot of each forum page.
Hi,
Have come back to Pistonheads after a few years albeit I check in to the classifieds now and again.
I'm a Beemer convert having had them for 20 years now.
My current day car is an F31 xdrive 330d, had for 8 years now,
and an E36 M3 EVO CABRIO ESTORIL blue, had for 14 years.
Both benefit from suspension upgrades, Schnitzer for the 330d and a Bilstein B12 kit for the M3.
Past cars of note are a Triumph Stag, TVR wedge 390 and a 4.0 Tuscan.
I generally do all my own work on my cars so understand them and enjoy sharing info and experiences.
My current wishlist "one day, maybe" is a TVR Tamora or a 640d cabriolet (depending on the mood I'm in) to replace the M3 but not yet.
Cheers
Martin
