The last car you will ever own?

Audi RS6 Avant. Every time I see one, it just screams the ultimate family wagon.
For a really real car prospect I don't see the point. As a do everything family car it would just be an expensive car having the interior ruined by dog, children, rubbish on the tip run etc. The exterior trashed by parking dings etc.
Add in the massive costs of running such a thing vs the few chances to really use it (I barely get a chance to "unleash" my current mildly warm estate and that's something like 4s slower to 60. ) and its firmly off any consideration.
If however we're ignoring all the boring practicalities of running costs and maintenance bills (not to mention the horrific unreliability) that come from shoehorning what is basically a supercar into a practical family car.... well then 100% I'd have one.
Except I'll have a manual swapped version with a tow bar please.
Brabus EV12.
Reasons as follows.
V12 sound.
Aerodynamics.
Rarity. 1 of 12.
When I get old I could still slip my backside In to the seat.
It was once a 600,000 euro car.
I like Ugly but functional.

Always amazes me with posts like these. You are given carte blanche to buy whatever you like with the caveat here of running costs being covered and someone always says something like "I'll keep my Golf GTi/MX5/320d". No you wouldn't.

If from now and money no object, Rimac Nevera.
If in a slightly more realistic world, the mintest E39 M5 I could find, strip it to a bare shell, re-protect it to modern standards and rebuild it from the ground up with all new OEM parts.
And even more realistically, probably a Golf R or BMW M2.

TX.
Fine choice, I was looking at those and making serious enquiries just this week.TX.
Not sure I could pick just one car. I really do love both of mine, a V8 Lexus LC and a supercharged GT86. The Audi was a potential replacement for the 86, had it not sold before I got to view it. If you're a true enthusiast there's nothing to match a pure sports car but having a sports car as your only car is challenging.
Interesting thread, is there such a thing as one car that can do everything you'd ever want or is there always a compromise? Sacrilege I know but I've never driven a 911, and maybe that's the answer as long as you never need to do tip runs. There's surely a reason that it's a cliché.
