Scottish property solicitor needed urgently
Discussion
Are you aware the system is different in Scotland?
Once an offer is accepted thats basically it - a done deal.
Missives (similar to contracts) usually follow quickly in Scotland which is the only chance for further neg, after which point the missives are signed and its virtually impossible to back out after that.
Is he at the point of missives? Or before that?
This is why offers are only accepted through Solicitors in Scotland.
Property transactions often happen in a few weeks up here - not months like in England.

I think we’re there now hopefully, the first solicitor didn’t say they can’t do houses over £2m but we’ve had an offer in and accepted. Once an offer is accepted thats basically it - a done deal.

It’s not me - I wish it was - it’s a client for my e-commerce who’s on holiday and asked me to help.

Me and my family have used Sian a few times, no no nonsense and easy to deal with.
I forget the cost but it was reasonable.
Good luck

I'm near the Clyde valley, and I'd be surprised if any property has ever sold for more then £2m. Unless he's buying an estate.
Both 1.9m plus ask. definitely not my thing, but someone wanting access to Glasgow I get it....https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/90202710#/?...
