If my lottery numbers come up then I'm buying that Countach to use, after first sending it back to the factory for a thorough recommissioning at Polo Storico. It's the only way to buy a 'new' Countach and collect it from the factory in person now.
Good man !!! but think of the depreciation every mile will cost you,
the lottery it wouldn't really matter

Sold my black fibre-glass 308gtb CFE348S @74,000 miles in 1986 guess its could be a lower mileage now .
I'm very sorry to butt in on this thread. I've just finished a bit of research on this car (CFE348S), as my father owned it before you. Actually imported as grey with red interior, when he had it it was black with red as with you. Now its red with black interior! I'd love to share some more info on it if you're interested.

Well I travelled by train and brought the car at Peterborough Station the seller and his wife drove from Boston, remember travelling home late at night in heavy snowfall back to Dagenham Essex. that was a good car.
Very interesting! Thanks for the reply. My father was in Devon, so couldnt have been the Boston one. He sold it to someone who drove down from 'up country' he says. For Devon that's most of it! It had a different plate when he had it, but still black over red like you. It's now the opposite, red with black interior.
From the chronology you must be somewhere in here I think. After 1984. The 1986 entry below is probably the person you sold it to.
06/07/1984: MOT certificate, recorded mileage 61,554 miles
09/10/1984: Change of registration to 3000 AR (GB)
1984/1985: Change of registration to CFE 348S (GB)
