Well it was that day. The performance by Jordan was masterly (at least to this ignoramus)...in catching up so much time. BUT I suspect there was something wrong with the Speed 12 as in earlier laps the TVR had been romping away...and then it wasn't. If the Safety Car hadn't come out the early lead would have been something the Lister couldn't make up. But still. A nail biting race. Can't complain. Still would have liked TVR to win though....

The TVR apparently had a misfire at high revs. Not sure why it took so long for them to decide a safety car was needed, but you can't argue with Jordan's assault on Michael Caine - it was thrilling to watch.

I was in the paddock as Mr Wheeler was telling his pals what he thought of the safety car coming out; 'b****cks' was one term used!

Don't forget each car has 2 drivers. Jordan is a pro, Warnock a competent amateur. Hilarious preview on Ceefax last week - "Harvey & Wilson neck & neck in the championship". As they drive the same car that's hardly suprising! Cheers, AdrianR

BVR is a true proffessional and is by far the best driver in the championship. Both Jordon and Caine have other jobs. What is needed is more GTS cars. Perhaps the Corvettes could call by on their way back to the states.
