That's a fair price.
For some reason, red white '98 fetch the premium; ironic when you consider a lot of people preferred the blue at the time.
It's the '98 red white that go up to £5k; my guess they'll keep going.
I have had mine for some time, still a great sports bike; shows how much they changed the game 17 years ago!
Here's mine in it's winter hiding place, it's back out on the road now, done a couple hundred miles on it this weekend,
all ready for our annual trip to the TT now!!

Great bikes! I bought this brand new in 1999 as a present to myself with the 1st dividend from the company I had started.
I'd never owned anything this bonkers before (an RF900 being closest), it was something of an eye opener and I can still remember seeing 182 on the clocks somewhere, err, appropriate.
