Food looks great.

Some clarification required on this one though - is that a doily or an antimacassar?
I had to look that one up. It's a place mat as far as I know. Doily possibly. In any case I don't like them.

Blame the wife!

If you can't count those chips you need to go back to school.

They were only there for a taster, I'm trying not to get fat.

Sadly no pictures tonight but being a student and having a spare tenner felt wrong so I nipped to the butchers on the way home and picked up a nice chunk of sirloin. Tossed some chopped mushroom, couple of cloves of crushed garlic and diced onion in a pan and softened the lot. Added a big glug of single cream and let it reduce down.

Steak in a sizzling hot pan with some italian herbs on top and cooked until medium rare then left to rest. Stuck the whole lot on a plate and wolfed the lot with some fresh crusty baguette.

I'd run out of money by desert time so a bit of creative thinking meant a bowl of broken up Jaffa cakes with what was left of the single cream poured over the top. hehe

Om nom nom.
