Goodwood Moving Motorshow - who's going?
Discussion
There's a story on the homepage about the latest manufacturers to confirm their attendance at the Goodwood Moving Motor Show on Thursday 1st July. Tickets can be bought here for £20, so it's well worth considering if you haven't been before or fancy adding an extra day to your trip.
Team PH will have a stand at this year's event for the first time, and we're all inappropriately giddy about it already (particularly me as, thanks to the impending birth of my first child, I won't be at Le Mans this year).
We're issuing an open invitation to all PHers to drop in at our stand (location tbc) where we'll be serving up a fine line in branded clothing, witty diatribe and good old fashioned banter about cars. We've even arranged for some tables and chairs for those who wish to take the weight off.
Unfortunately the logistics of the event make a PH car park an impossibility for this year, but we'd love to see you nonetheless. In the finest tradition of the PH events attendance list, here's us kicking this one off. Please add your name if you're coming, and we'll see how long it takes someone to balls it up completely, delete numbers 57 to 86 and then start again in reverse .

I'm very much going to this but other than being able to book tickets, I can't seem to find too much more info. So there will be a 'moving motor show'. What cars will be in this? All of those appearing over the rest of FoS or just new ones? Will there be anything else going on that day (apart from the trade stands)?
Ive been watching their site for the last 2 weeks or more and was surpised at the lack of an update since the end of March, at this point last year I felt it was updated a lot more frequently and as of today it is now obvious that the reason for the site stagnating was this Mega bucks update as per this afternoon but I feel they have changed the layout maybe a bit too much a little too close to the festival. I think this could have been done a lot earlier in the year.
Yes ths moving motorshow tickets are not where you would think they would be under the Festival ticket section. You have to open the moving motorshow link which in turn has a seperate sub link for motorshow tickets. Confusing indeed, almost as much as one of the front pages after lunch today which was flashing the FOS date for 2010 as being 12-15th July 2010! I used prefer the latest news section on the old site, cant find a similar equivelant with the date of the publication on the new site. You used to be able to see the releases chronologically

They've evidently relaunched their site in the last day or so.
