1990 Peugeot

H reg originally a 1.9. Road legal track car. MOT until 27/2/14. Tax until 28/2/14.

Basic spec is:

- Rebuilt Mi16 by QEP with proper 405 loom

- Mocal 13row oil cooler

- 1.6 GTI gearbox (shorter ratios than 1.9 'box)

- DES Developments stainless steel GpN exhaust downpipe, backbox, and centre box

- Front: 309 wishbones and shafts, Koni adjustable dampers with Eibach springs

- Rear: 309 rear beam with Bilstein dampers, solid mounts

- Brakes: Ferodo DS2500 pads up front, lines run through car with front/rear bias valve

- Full Safety Devices C44 Challenge cage

- New Cobra Imola Pro bucket seats on proper mounts installed by XSport Racing

- OMP steering wheel

- 4-point harnesses

- Sun-roof removed

In the time I've had the car since December 2011 it has had the following new parts fitted:

- Both driveshafts replaced

- Both front lower suspension arms replaced

- Front discs and Ferodo DS2500 pads

- Rear discs and OE pads

- Hand brake cable

- Falken ZE912 tyres all round, lots of tread (2yrs old, 2500miles on them)

The car also comes with a full spare set of track wheels (OE 205 GTI wheels, painted black) with worn Yokohama Parada 2 tyres fitted.

Please note milage quoted is on the shell rather than engine. Exact miles on engine is unknown but it was re-built on 11/8/06 and the car has only covered 5668 miles since 22/11/07 - based upon re-build invoice and oldest MOT I have. It certainly pulls well and revs hard towards the limiter (not that I am in the habit of bouncing off of it!).

I have a folder of history stretching back to 2005 with invoices backing up everything quoted above.

Why am I selling? Basically I just do not use it as much as I expected to. I never seem to find the time to book a track day (have only done one) and I just don't seem to go out early on a Sunday morning as much as I used to. Its a great fun car though and genuinely rapid with lovely adjustable and lively handling. I certainly don't regret sampling the 205 magic.

Located Caversham, Reading. Available to view most weekends. Will happily take serious buyers for a decent drive around local A & B roads. Test drives will require evidence of insurance please.
