Description
Rare and very original 911E lux, older restoration with original interior. Original supplied by Malaya Garage in Sussex at a cost of £3971 in October 1972. The car is a F series car (1 year production 1972/73). Number manufactured worldwide 1366. This car has it's original recaro leather seats and its original door cards, (not reproduction RS style interior). Cars in this condition with its original interior are hard to find these days. UK supplied car with large history file going back to the 70s. I have owned this car for 7 years now and it has been looked after by independent specialist Motortune Shotts regardless of cost. Last year the engine and gearbox were removed for new syncro, whilst out any hard to get to parts were checked and if needed attended to. The car is in its original colour of Oxford blue but was white for a while in the 80s when it had a successful hill climb and sprint career, winning the AMMC sprint championship in 1988, 89, 90 and the Roy Taylor Trophy in 1989.. It was returned to blue before I purchased the car from Autofarm in late 2005. The car is fitted with electric windows and a sunroof and has a retro style becker mexico with bluetooth and iPod connection making a very usable car to own and enjoy, I have for the last 7 years. Tool kit dated as correct 73 type along with jack and spare wheel.... something I was unaware of. The car is 'Oxford Blue' but I am told it may also be known sea blue or dalmatian blue.... the picture are a true representation of the colour and really suit the car..
