This is a brief description of the J15 kit car, a full description of the build components is available on request.

- Registered new November 2024, '74' plate

- Fully IVA compliant with Individual Approval Certificate (IAC) and V5C Registration Certificate issued.

- I am the original owner and builder of this kit car.

- Mileage: <100 shake-down miles only

- Weight: 550kg

- The car has been built using all new components except for the Ford IB5 gearbox which has been fully reconditioned with all new bearings/seals etc, and new slave cylinder.

- The square tube chassis kit and GRP gloss black gel coated body kit supplied by Sylva Autokits Ltd.

- New crate engine, Ford Sigma SE 1600cc, 140bhp.

- Engine management system: Omex 600 with road going wiring loom and sensors.

- Throttle bodies: Jenvey direct to head. Custom made air box with integral foam filter.

- Instruments and display: ETB DD2-Lite programmable digital display and sensors.

Steering wheel controls: Summit Raptor (road IVA version), wireless push button controls and wiring loom.

- The wiring was undertaken by Electrical Car Services (ECS), integrating four wiring looms of: Omex 600 ECU, Raptor controls, Thatcham Category 2 Cobra immobiliser and ETB DigiDash2-LITE digital display.

- Wheels: Alloy Minilite Mag style 6Jx14, gloss black.

- Tyres: Toyo Proxes CF2.

- Shock absorbers: AVO.

- Brake calipers: Front: Hi-Spec Ultralight 4 Caterham 232 calipers 4 x 34.6 mm pistons. Rear: Hi-Spec SVA HB-UL2 VW Lug 240 handbrake calipers, 2 x 38mm pistons.

- Hydraulic brake and clutch lines: Goodridge 600 series flexible stainless steel braided hose with outer black PVC sheath and stainless steel crimped end fittings.

- Radiator and electric fan: Custom made all aluminium radiator, Pro-Alloy Motorsport.

- Cockpit heater T7 Design 3.5kW lightweight heater.

- Coolant water hoses: Viper black silicon hoses.

- Battery: Varley Red Top 25 lead acid racing battery 20Ah, 230A. A waterproof circuit breaker is mounted adjacent to battery.

- Built in battery charger socket: CTEK comfort indicator panel fitted to passenger side rear panel; allows permanent wiring connections to battery and lead to be plugged in and connected to CTEK charger/220v power supply.

- Car seat set: Intatrim seat set, comprising of shaped squabs, backrests and headrests, black vinyl with bright green edge piping, supplied by Sylva.

- Seat harnesses: Prima Motorsport, 4 point branded Sylva 3” harness.
