It was imported from Florida to the UK and first registered here on December 21st 2005. The current owner, a lady, purchased the car in 2017 but unfortunately the history file has been lost during a house move, so we trying to trace its history as much as possible. It’s an exceptional replica, built to a high standard, and features a 1600cc VW engine paired with a 4-speed gearbox. The car has recently undergone some impressive updates, including a brand new blue mohair soft top and a tan leather interior, both professionally fitted by Strong & Turton Coachtrimmers at a cost of £3,750. Additionally, it has been fully serviced and recommissioned by the specialists at Terry’s Beetles in Boston Manor, London, for £3,291.79.
