2015 LEXUS IS

A fantastically comfortable and economical car. I am the second owner, having purchased the vehicle in September 2019. It has proven to be absolutely reliable throughout my ownership and I’ll be sad to see it go, but we no longer require two cars.

It has a full Lexus service history (detailed below and pictured) which means that it’s still covered by the Lexus Relax Warranty up to 100,000 miles or July 11, 2026 - whichever criterion is met first.

Premier trim means that it's very well-specced. I typically average 52mpg in mixed driving. Annual road tax is only £10.

Condition Notes

Exterior: The bodywork is in fantastic condition relative to its age, with only minor, age-appropriate surface scratches.

Brakes: An intermittent squeal from the front right wheel is due to a missing anti-squeal plate. I’ve been quoted £280 for a standalone fix, but as the discs and pads are only 25% worn, it is more cost-effective to address this during the next brake component replacement (£550). This issue does not compromise braking performance.

Windscreen: There are two small chips in the windscreen; one has been professionally repaired. The remaining chip is approximately 15mm in diameter (pictured).
