This may be the best-specified 996 Carrera 2 currently for sale. Over £21,000 of factory options were specified new — including Sport Chassis (M030), the full Carbon Interior Package (gear lever, handbrake lever, door entry guards, ignition surround, centre air vent bracket, dashboard trim strip, and instrument surround), Bi-Xenon headlights, Bose sound system, PCM Navigation, Porsche Stability Management, heated electric comfort seats with Porsche Crest embossed headrests, 18" Carrera wheels with coloured crested centres, and electric sunroof. Forest Green Metallic with this specification and a black leather interior is, as far as I'm aware, unique on the market.

The bodywork was fully resprayed in the original Forest Green Metallic approximately ten years ago, and the car was then professionally detailed and ceramic coated (3-year) by Atom Detailing in May 2025, with all four alloys refurbished, brake hubs painted, and minor dents removed. The paint presents beautifully.

The car has been continuously maintained and improved during my eight years of ownership, with the majority of mechanical work carried out by Revolution Porsche in Leeds:

- Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE) — fitted by Porsche Reading at just 21,000 miles then replaced with Miltek, custom Samco induction system, Cold racing panel filter, amazing sound.

- OEM Porsche Classic Cup steering wheel (GT3 RS spec) with boss adapter — properly fitted, not an aftermarket copy

- 997.2 Turbo short shifter — transforms the gear change

- GT3 centre console delete with all new parts and carpet— sounds system fully removed, new components, and transmission tunnel colour-coded to Forest Green exterior

- Colour-coded brake calipers — Forest Green to match exterior

- 80kg light weighting resulting in one of the best driving 996 out there.

This is a rear-wheel-drive Carrera 2 — the lighter, sharper car. No unnecessary weight from the AWD system. With the Sport Chassis, rebuilt suspension, short shifter, cup wheel, and dialed in GT3 geometry, it drives as well as it looks.

Will be supplied with a fresh service and clean MOT from Revolution Porsche who have looked after it for me for the last 9 years .

The history file is comprehensive and complete — original factory order form, deposit letters, delivery note, every service invoice from 2002 onwards, all option codes from Partslink, MOT certificates, IMS serial number documentation, and a full Vehicle Provenance Report.
