2007 SUBARU IMPREZA

No. 079 of 320. One of only 320 rallying inspired Subaru Imprezas made to commemorate the rallying legend, Richard Burns. The car is one of only around 252 RB320s still left in existence, so almost certainly an appreciating modern classic.

The car is completely stock, with the exception of the following:

- Scooby World Ninja 2 Back Box (although I have the original Prodrive Back Box which is included in the sale).

- HKS SSQV VTA Dump Valve/Blow Off Valve (although I have the original RB Dump Valve which is included in the sale).

- KYB rear Shock Absorbers as original Bilstein Shock Absorbers had perished beyond repair (although I still have the original Bilsteins which are included in the sale).

- Perrin rear spoiler uprights (which can be easily removed to return to stock).

The car has covered 74,000 miles, has had only 3 former keepers and has full service history (some with Subaru main dealer, some with independent Subaru specialists and the rest with marque/performance car specialists/authorised dealers). The last full service (including diff oil and brake fluid change and replacement of all 4 ignition coils) was carried out in December 2024 at 68,000 miles by an independent Subaru specialist. The car is also MOT’d until Feb 2027 (the last MOT had no advisories).

The car had a complete overhaul carried out in 2020 at 53,000 miles by a Subaru main dealer (fully documented) which totalled over £8,000 and included (among many other things):

- Full Engine Rebuild with new Short Motor, Timing Belt, Oil Pump, Radiator Panel, Cooler and Sump.

- New Clutch.

- New Front Subframe and U Frame.

- Shock Absorbers reconditioned.

- New brakes plus brake callipers reconditioned.

- New Front Splitter and full detailing to the bodywork and interior.

The front and rear bumpers were also resprayed in 2023 and 2024, respectively, at a total cost of £1,800 (fully documented) to address stone chips.

Most recent expenses include a new Fuel Pump (Jan 2026), two new Good Year Eagle F1 front tyres (Feb 2026), new rear Shock Absorbers (Feb 2026) and all four wheels refurbished (April 2026), totalling over £1,700 (all documented).

I also have a folder full of receipts going back to 2009 and also details of work carried out as early as June 2007 at 550 miles! So, the provenance of the car is excellent.

The car has virtually all of the optional extras that was available at the time of order and includes the original full leather interior with RB320 embroidered front seats, Audio Enhancement Pack featuring Clarion Sat Nav CD/DVD player, and 3M "Panther" Autofilm window tinting. This is alongside the £6,000 worth of standard extras that the RB320 came with, which included the Prodrive Performance Pack, Brembo brakes, Ebachi Springs and Bilstein Shock Absorbers. The car also has a factory fitted boost gauge (one of only five RB320s known to have this), rear seat cover, reversing camera and comes with two keys and original Subaru Owner’s Manual, wallet, etc plus an indoor car cover.

The car is in great mechanical condition and the bodywork is overall very good (although there is a very slight indentation on the bonnet and the offside front wing). The car’s been a regular (but not daily) runner for me, but I now have too many cars and not enough space for them all so sadly need to part with the RB. It was either the RB or a 1970s classic that is of sentimental value to me and so I’ve chosen to keep the latter.
