Description

Ordered by Maranello Concessionaires Ltd on 9 May 1973 on behalf of the then Dino agents S.G.M. (Garages) Ltd, this UK-supplied 246 GTS was specified in rare Bianco Polo Park (20-W-152) with Nero 161 trim and Nero carpets. Believed to be one of only four imported in this colour and one of just 247 Dinos finished in white, it was completed in August 1973 and first registered in Newcastle upon Tyne on 16 October 1973.
The car remained in long-term ownership in the North East for much of its life, covering just 30,000 miles by 1980. It was later acquired by respected Ferrari specialists Italia Autosport, who restored the car.
Purchased from Kent specialist in 2002, the car remained with its penultimate owner for 14 years before passing to its most recent keeper in 2016. During this period, it also made a television appearance in The People We Love to Hate at Weddings.
In early 2026, the car was repainted in its original Bianco Polo Park by T&T Premier Coachworks (Tony Lear, formerly of Spraytec). A full service has just been completed, together with the fitment of a new clutch and four new period-correct Michelin XWX tyres.
A matching-numbers example with just four registered keepers, the car is accompanied by a comprehensive history file including copies of the original factory ordering correspondence, a report by Matthias Bartz (The Dino Compendium), and a verification letter from Tony Willis of the Maranello Archives.
