For sale is my 1999 Honda Civic EK9 Type R import

Only reason i'm selling is that I’ve still got the Vag bug so moving back to Audi or Vw

The Car is completely standard along with being championship white from factory.

The car is now garaged after a 20 point valet so the mileage will not rise.

Everything works exactly as it should, the engine is B16B 1.6 DOHC VTEC unit

VTEC crossover is perfect and revs smoothly to 9000rpm as it should.

Paint/Bodywork

The bodywork is factory finished in championship white. When it’s polished up it looks amazing giving a lovely deep shine, as expected from a car this age there are a few age related marks but nothing major, the drivers side door has had some paint at some point and the match isn’t perfect as you can see from the pictures. The front bumper also has the standard stone chips renown on the ek9 type R’s. All 4 arches and whole underneath of the car is under sealed to protect from rust and the car is completely void of any rust.

Brakes/suspension

Front discs and pads have been changed under a 1000km ago with brand new oem replacements and the backs still have plenty of life in them. Suspension is all standard type r units from factory.

Wheels/tyres

Standard Type R alloy wheels with both fronts wrapped in Pirrelli p6’s with 6/7mm tread left on both, the rears are both primewell pz-200’s with 3-4mm tread on.

Wheels are in good condition and were refurbished last year in the standard factory colour.

Interior/stereo

All pretty much standard from the factory with the addition of both A pillar mirror covers wrapped in 195gsm 2/2 twill carbon fibre by Mugly at CarbonTech. The front seats were retrimmed last year using a donor seat and will include a couple of spare bolsters in the sale. The car came with no speakers or headunit so I have had fitted a Kenwood double din touch unit along with 2 6x9’s to replace the rear speakers, to improve the sound quality I have also fitted an amp that sits underneath the passenger seat powering the 6x9’s.

£5000 – which I think is a fair price due to the current examples on the market and the age of the car.
