RENAULT GTA V6 TURBO

I have decided to sell my Alpine GTA Turbo. The car is a stratos blue 1988 model with ABS and is sitting on sought after Azev A wheels with nearly new tyres all round. Upholstery is grey velour with dark grey carpets.

The vehicle is known to the Renault Alpine Owners Club and has been the subject of a considerable amount of restoration work, carried out by Renault Alpine Tuning Services approximately 18 months and 6000 miles ago. Photo's of the restoration work are available on my Wordpress blog.

The work done includes:

Engine rebuild

gearbox strip and rebuild

new clutch

refurbished brake calipers

new discs, pads and braided brake line

Gaz adjustable coilovers

rear suspension turrets replace (common corrosion area)

rear subframe stripped and restored

new stainless steel water pipes (these run from front to back of the car and the originals corrode. replacement means engine out)

new fuel pump (high flow ready for engine upgrades)

radiator replaced

many other things which I forget

Plus in the last few month the following has been done

replaced hard fuel line under the car

new drivers door lock and actuation mechanism

remote locking receiver replaced

JVC double din cd, usb, radio with handsfree bluetooth installed (original Alpine unit will be supplied with the car)

replaced rear light unit (these are like gold dust)

new carpets

coolant flushed and replaced with Renault Type D coolant (correct for vehicle)

This car runs well, smooth and quiet as a GTA should be. The electrics all work with the exception of the fuel guage (well it works but is vague, a common problem) and the heated rear screen which needs connecting up. To be honest heat from the engine means it clears quickly anyway

Like all 26 year old cars, there are a few tiny niggles, but I have sorted most of them and the car comes with tax and MOT until September.
