A “Comfort” specification car with carbon backed, crested, black leather bucket seats and extended leather to dash and door trims.
Small carbon pack (centre console, speedo/rev counter surround and radio/heater control surround.
In addition the car is fitted with a correctly installed OE GT3 Clubsport roll cage. Currently the front section is not fitted to the car, but the required mounting points are present and the front sections will be included in the sale.
An original Clubsport lightweight flywheel and clutch assembly were fitted to the car in May 2013. Since which the car has covered less than 2000 miles.
In March 2004 the car was fitted with the well regarded Manthey K400 engine upgrade conversion by UK Manthey agent JZ Machtech. This consisted of a replacement exhaust system including more efficient manifolds, high flow cats and silencer boxes with improved flow characteristics. Additionally the conversion utilises a Cup air filter, MAF deletion and reconfigured/reprogrammed ECU along with engine bay carbon fibre cold air ducting.
The car also has a Manthey billet gearshift assembly. Unlike most quick shift assemblies, this does not increase the weight of the gearshift, it merely dramatically improves it’s precision.
The car also benefits from the well known Mk2 996 GT3 six pot front brake caliper upgrade, along with Alcon 362mm floating front discs and Alcon 350mm floating rear discs. The front discs utilise Alcon’s own custom alloy bells, the rears original PCCB stainless steel bells. The front pads are Pagid RS 29, the rears Pagid RS14. The front and rear discs have been on the car less than 1000 miles.
In addition to the previously listed upgrades, the car runs a set of Ohlins 3 way adjustable, remote canister dampers. These have been optimised for road use, and thus run spring rates within 5% of the standard Mk1 GT3 springs. The front use the standard GT3 adjustable top mounts, the rears use 997 GT3 Cup top mounts.
The standard rear toe arms have been replaced with Porsche Motorsport Cup items.
Included in the sale will be a set of Manthey KW V3 dampers and springs.
The car has a xenon headlamp upgrade conversion kit supplied by HIDS4U.
Pristine at Milton Keynes have just completely refurbished all the wheels (inners and outers) the outers having been diamond cut to their original spec.
A new set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres in 235 Fr/295Rr sizes have just been fitted.
The car is be supplied with two sets of Schroth harnesses, (Please note both sets of harnesses are out of date)
The car has retained all its original panels.
The car was serviced within the OPC network up to and including 2004, thereafter it’s been serviced by various well known and well regarded independents such as JZ Machtech and Fearnsport.

Large amounts of time, effort and money have been invested into honing this into a superbly suspended road car, it’s thus with huge regret I'm selling the car to fund a new business venture.
Clearly this is by no means a standard car, but one benefiting from some well chosen, well regarded and expensive upgrades. Now an increasingly rare opportunity to buy a unique, properly sorted, well specified, fully maintained example of an original panel car with the added benefit of the major Clubsport upgrades along with new brakes, tyres, clutch, refurbished wheels, dampers. Those of you that are familiar with these fantastic cars will be all too aware that the items listed are the more expensive “GT3 consumables“.
