2002 Mercedes-Benz

Regrettably selling our C32 AMG and comes with a private plate, R7TKL or "tinkerbell" as we refer to her.

She is a 2002 in good condition with FSH. Every conceivable extra including a boot liner.

Drives perfectly with no transmission problems funny noises etc and loads of power, make no mistake this is a pretty quick car. 350BHP and torque to match so a proper wolf in sheeps clothing.

Of course fuel will be the big question and being honest its not too bad. Over the last 4k we returned around 24mpg but regularily see 27/28. Its possible to get 30 but only on a very long run and being honest not a soul on here will see that...

Taxed until Sept and Mot until next Feb or March.

Of course this age of car does come with some small problems.

Usual Mercedes rust. This is not too bad but you can see it on the bottom of the doors and there is one blister in the middle of the rear door, Ive tried showign this in the pictures. The local bodyshop quoted 5-600 so this is reflected in the price.

Rear brake discs will need replacing. I put brand new fronts on at the MOT and the guy mentioned the rears will need doing, something confirmed by a shudder when braking hard, normal driving you dont notice it. I had intended on doing this next.

The last issue is with one of the thirteen servos behind the dash controlling the climate system. Basically has a stripped gear so sometimes when starting it clicks for 20- seconds. Once it stops you dont hear it again and we have noticed no difference to the heating/cooling. Its not bothered us over the last 10K miles so never felt a need to repair.

Other than these three problems the car is excellent, an absolutely brilliant car that both my wife and I will be sad to see go.
