2006 AUDI RS4 QUATTRO - 28.5k miles, FASH

2006 '06' RS4 Saloon
Avus silver with black optic pack
28500 miles with full dealership history [mileage will go up slightly as the car is in use].
9 months MOT [no advisories on the last MOT].
Taxed until end September 2014 [new tax rules mean any car sold after 1st October has any remaining tax refunded to the seller, and the new keeper needs to tax it].
4 previous keepers [the previous keeper only owned it for 6months; he liked the engine that much he decided to order a new B8 RS4 (to sit alongside his A6 All Road bi-turbo and SQ5!)].
I purchased the car 12.05.13, it was an Audi approved car with 5 months Audi warranty still remaining, it had only covered 22500 miles. Within the warranty scheme the car had benefited from replacement auxiliary radiators [a common issue] and new front discs/pads [05/10/12; 21629 miles].
I've just had the rear discs gently skimmed to remove the slight surface scoring, and had new pads fitted [therefore they look good as new, and match the appearance of the fronts].
The service history is as follows:
27.02.07 8753 miles Ipswich Audi [LongLife Oil Service]
07.04.08 11688 miles Ipswich Audi [Brake Fluid Change]
10.11.08 12842 miles Ipswich Audi [LongLife Oil Service]
31.08.10 18377 miles Ipswich Audi [LongLife Oil Service]
11.06.12 20967 miles Ipswich Audi [LongLife Oil Service]
14.12.13 25399 miles Carlisle Audi [Longlife Oil Service (inc. brake fluid change & spark plug change)].
My brother works for Audi as a technician and went over the car with a fine tooth comb. Whilst still under warranty under my ownership, it had a parking sensor replaced and 1 shock [slight 'sweating' around one of the seals]. I could have extended the warranty but decided not to given the clean bill of health.
The car has a nice spec:
Black Optics Pack
Heated bucket seats [the driver's side bolster is not worn], the bolsters still inflate nicely when the sport button is pressed.
Flat-bottomed steering wheel.
Adaptive head lights [turn as you go around corners; pretty cool].
Electric sunroof; quite rare but nice to have.
DVD-based Sat-Nav plus.
x2 SD slots
Bose speakers, 6-CD changer in the glove box.
Carbon inlays.
Front center armrest.
Adapter with SIM access [looks like a 1990's mobile phone unit, but works really well in-conjunction with a mobile via bluetooth].
Auto-lights, auto-wipers, cruise control, front & rear parking sensors.
The car is fitted with a valved non-resonated Miltek exhaust. The valves open/close with the sport button. The exhaust tips are black to match the black optics pack. The car sounds immense [IMHO] with people often turning around to see whats making the gorgeous sound :)
The car comes with 2 sets of keys, all manuals, a comprehensive document wallet, and the original RS4 sales brochure!
Condition:
The wheels have no kerbing. The tyres are PZeros [~3mm remaining all around].
The interior is immaculate. The interior still smells nice and fresh [I'm a non-smoker]. As mentioned further up the advert the drivers seat is in excellent condition [compared to the many RS4's I viewed before buying this one]. I've just treated the seats with an Autoglym leather food which keeps the leather nice and supple.
The paint work is in excellent condition [slight stone chips (to the rear arches for example) consummate with the cars age]. If the paint is ever subjected to a bird deposit it's washed the same day!
The car drives superbly. It has no squeaks or rattles, and pulls very strongly [some of the RS4's I drove felt a tad lethargic (potentially due to carbon build-up)]. It puts a smile on my face whenever I drive it.
With the buckets/flat-bottomed steering wheel/carbon inlays, it has a nice sense of occasion.
The car is garaged overnight.
Everything works as it should!
Until recently my wife had an A4 Avant [Special Edition Quattro] which I used for ferrying my mountain bike around (in the back with the wheels off), and we used as a family when going camping etc. We've recently changed that car for a RR Evoque which isn't as spacious/practical, so I'm reluctantly going to change my car [I don't wish to fit the RS4 with roof bars etc] fpr an estate.
I think the car is competitively priced given it's very low mileage and provenance.
My mobile no. is 0797 415 3740
Home no. [evenings] is 016977 41735
Thanks for looking!
No more canvassers/traders please [asking if it's got FSH, and how many keepers its got etc when it's all detailed in the advert].
Given the competitive price [I paid £24.5k for the car], I will only consider very close offers [there are plenty of higher mileage vehicles available to suit various budgets]. I'm not a desperate seller.
