2 Keys, manuals etc all seem to be present in their original zip folder
Full Momo Italia leather interior, heated and electric fronts with drivers arm rest.
Bose surround sound stereo with factory Bose subwoofer in the boot and a proper aux input to the rear of the factory headunit.
Cruise control, dual zone climate control with aircon (all works fine), on board computer with central display (trip computer, mpg, distance, service schedule etc) everything works which is apparently a rarity in itself! Only possible thing to mention would be the steering wheel control buttons are slightly worn and the display for the computer (not the radio display) goes faint if it gets really hot from the sun but returns when cool (one of them Alfa quirks?!)
Cambelt, tensioners etc all changed at 72K so no worries there.
The service indicator on the on board computer doesn’t require the car to be serviced for approx. another 8k Miles.
Mechanically great, brakes etc all seem to have plenty of life left in them, clutch is still snappy with a high biting point, not wooden and low. Drives great too and nothing seems untoward. Previous owner mentioned a new radiator last year too which he mentioned was a common problem with these.
It’s also pretty good on fuel for a petrol saloon car of its size, on board trip computer shows 39mpg average over the time I’ve had it although id assume it’d be a bit less as is the way with these on board computers. I’ve had it over to the lakes a couple of times as well as down south and it’s just a great comfortable car to be in.
Externally there are a few blemishes, there’s a strange dull lacquer patch on one of the rear doors and there are a couple of general car park dings/blemishes. Arches are all good and have been wax oiled regularly in the past, along with a lot of the underside. This has kept all the brake lines in good shape too, which the last M.O.T station thought the car would fail on at 11 years old but commented on their good condition.
With its last M.O.T it did, however, fail on its exhaust so had a new front/centre section fitted. The only advisories, following this, being the rear tyres. The fronts have plenty of tread.
Genuine reason for sale, I bought it as a stop gap car whilst I searched for something specific and that car had popped up. I’ve genuinely got quite attached to the Alfa and will be sad to see it go, it seemed I was taking a bit of a risk when I bought it but it’s been really good to me and has felt like a really genuine good example. It’s been my first Alfa Romeo and I don’t think it’ll be my last!
I’m looking for £1000, ropey high milers are up for more than this so please, no stupid offers.
