2003 Alfa Romeo

Hi, I've decided to sell my beloved 147 GTA. This really is a very nice example, so nice that I have had a real headache deciding to let go or not. However as the new year arrives I've decided to get my priorities in order and get a car that I can teach my wife to drive in and clear some debt. I use the car as second car and weekend toy having been insured on a limited mileage policy.

She is finished in rosso 130 with imola interior ( Black and Tan) and has the factory fitted Sat Nav and also Denison iPod connection. Both exterior and interior are in fantastic condition. There is a nice deep shine to the paintwork, in fact the car was confused with a new car by friends as they thought it was a 14 registration due to the exceptional condition and the private registration (T14 MFS). This is my sixth GTA and it is comparable with my 18k example I bought in 2008. Little things like the gear knob leather, the steering wheel leather and the controls on the steering wheel look like they are new, not worn like many are. This gta has been pampered by myself and it's previous owner of 9 years who was a maserati mechanic. He treated the car to selenia racing 10/60 oil changes every 3000 miles.

I refurbished the teledials alloys a few months ago in the brightest silver available and they look superb, the car has only driven around 500 miles since the wheels were refinished.

She was registered new on the 30/9/03 and is on a private reg which is included in sale. The current mileage is 65650 and may rise as the car is used at weekends. The car has had the all important cambelt change done in 14/2/14 (4000 miles ago) receipt for £1190.84 as brake pads, oil and filter change, air filter and handbrake cables were also replaced at the same time.

The Oil cooler was replaced with upgraded mocal item in May 2014 at a cost of £375, this is a common fault that has been rectified. Lower wishbones fitted on 9.1.15 and suspension inspected and deemed good.

The car has tasteful Autodelta upgrades comprising of a full stainless steel exhaust which gives a beautiful burble and an Autodelta remap that gives an extra 25hp. I've found this gta to be better on petrol than my previous gta's and this may be due to the remap. The car also has Autodelta rear lenses which can be easily changed if not to your taste (these were £500 new).

The car does not have a q2 or quaiffe differential as far as I am aware and comes with 305 brakes. The car has a folder of receipts documenting work done but does not have stamped book.

To do list- the car would benefit from a new front badge and new centre caps for wheels. I have ordered these.
