2005 BMW

Outstanding E60 M5 for sale, in a the best colour combo of Silverstone II Paint and black leather interior, IMHO! If you are reading this then you should know already what these cars are all about and what it takes to maintain them.

This is on a 55 plate, registered in December 2005, it currently has 80.5k miles on the clock, of which 3k I have done in my ownership over the past 18 months. This is one of the main reasons for moving her on as she simply does not get the use she deserves.

The car was purchased by me (3rd owner) from Sandal BMW Wakefield and came with 2 years full BMW Warranty and BMW assist, which will expire 1/8/15. A must for any serious buyer. Every service since the day it left the factory has been carried out by them. Service intervals as follows:

26/1/06 – Run in service, and Engine oil at 1198 miles

9/1/07 – Engine Oil at 16,253 miles

12/12/07 – Brake fluid at 26,829 miles

14/4/08 – Engine Oil at 31,637 miles

10/6/08 – Micro-Filter at 32,782 miles

11/11/08 – Spark Plugs and vehicle check at 37,489 miles

22/12/08 – Rear brakes at 38,460 miles

14/10/09 – Engine Oil at 47,144 miles

02/12/09 – Brake fluid at 48,049 miles

28/5/10 – Micro-Filter and front brakes at 52,622 miles

04/5/11 – Engine Oil at 62,662 miles

02/12/11 – Brake fluid at 69,387 miles

20/3/12 – Micro-Filter, spark plugs and vehicle check at 71,865 miles

Paintwork is in fantastic condition. All wheels are mark free, and the tyres are Continental SP 2’s all round….(4mm on rears, 5mm on fronts)

The only things I have added/changed is

• the front and side grills to black gloss(perfect match)…I have the originals too which I can include or swap.

• Hayward and Scott back exhaust system (back boxes)….£980 new. Amazing sound, and was the icing on the cake, sounds amazing and what the V10 needed. Again, I have the original exhaust too which included in the sale.

When I purchased the car from Sandal BMW they gave me the list of jobs that had been carried out under warranty and these were:

• 4000 miles – gearbox sensor

• 48,000 miles – flywheel and clutch replaced

• 49,000 miles – new gearbox

• 73,000 miles – new differential.
