1990 TVR

Welcome to the sale of my TVR 400SE.

It is with a very heavy heart that I am selling my TVR due to a house move last year and escalating building costs!.

I have owned my TVR for almost 10 years and it has been a cherished 3rd car, during that time I have done less than 5,000 miles in only the best weather.

The TVR 400SE was built by TVR between 1988-1990 and in that time only 242 were made. Mine was probably one of the last being registered on the 1st August 1990.

Out of those 242 made there is possibly about 57 left in the UK making the 400SE a very rare car nowadays.

My TVR has had lots of work done over the years and has mainly been looked after by Dulford Automotive (before they shut down) and TVRS. Sadly, not much early service history is available but I do have letters from previous owners to confirm there was a full and detailed service history.

In regards to previous owners my TVR has had 11 and I have the full DVLA history to confirm those owners and when they owned the car.

Work completed in my ownership -

* New battery

* Dashtop/centre console re-painted

* All interior wood re-veered

* Major chassis work including outriggers

* Front seats re-trim in cream leather

* New original gearknob and handbrake gaitor

* New bonnet gas-struts

* Front end re-painted

* New rear plastic window

* 4 new tyres

* Alloys re-furbished

In addition to the above I have copies of factory memos, dealer/service bulletins from the 80's and 90's, very nostalgic!. Also, I have original sales brochures, copy of a buying guide and a copy of Steve Heaths " The TVR Wedges " bible.

My TVR is m.o.t’d until the 15th August 2015, the current mileage is approximately 61,250 which I have no reason is dis-believe is not genuine.

Hopefully, you will appreciate what this TVR means to me and I only want it to go to a good home. For the money I don't think anything can match the rarity, the noise, the looks!. It has to be sold and all viewings/inspections are very welcome and all sensible offers will be considered.

Price for this very rare TVR is £7995 without the TVR number plate or £8995 with the TVR number plate. This TVR is a sound investment and can only go up in value, just look at Sagaris prices!.
