2003 BMW

I am looking to sell my extremely rare BMW Alpina B12 6.0L 7 Series. As you'll probably already know, these cars are becoming very hard to find and appreciating well. Search 'Alpina B12 6.0 spotted' to read the Piston Heads article about these cars from back in 2013 - £30k for a mint one and I'm sure they have appreciated further since then.

My example has aged well, however I don't drive it regularly. I can assure you that the engine, gearbox, diff and all running gear are sound and solid. It has brand new Bilstein suspension all round along with good brakes and tyres. It was four wheel aligned about 6 weeks ago and tracks perfectly. The original 20" Alpina wheels are in very good condition too. The bodywork is good for its age – some general small rubs and stone chips on the front bumper but overall it's solid and presents well after a valet.

As with any car this age, there are some small issues. The headlining is snagging. The head unit works when it wants to (?). There are some pixels missing on the dash. The outside temperature sensor needs replacing. The original black leather interior is in good condition (no tears or stains) but it does have some rubbing as normal on the drivers seat. It just needs some TLC to be returned to it's former Autobahn eating glory.

I believe a competent mechanic could get this rare Alpina back to mint condition without much time or cost. Sadly I have simply run out of time to enjoy driving it due to increasing business pressures and it's a great shame to see it sat on the drive everyday doing nothing. I'm sure this example would look stunning in any collection, kept as an asset or used as a daily/weekend drive.

This is an original LHD German car that has been in the UK for some time – at least the last three owners were UK based. The clock reads in kilometres and currently says 374k. I haven't MOT'd the car recently however I don't see any reason why it wouldn’t pass. So you would need a trailer or trade plates to drive it away.
