Description
This 1975 Porsche 911S 2.7 Targa is a really pretty car, with its white paintwork, polished Fuchs alloy wheels, brushed aluminium Targa hoop and freshly refinished chrome trim, all of which gives it a true classic appearance. It’s rare, too, as not many of these mid-1970s 911Ss were built, and few survive to this day.
The interior is lovely, with its wonderfully period green tartan seats, which are in superb condition, having been retrimmed just last year, as was the Targa roof.
Mechanically, it’s a well sorted car, too. The engine was rebuilt in 1997 by JZ MachTech and it has covered just 13,000 miles since then. The clutch was replaced the same year, and a large number of invoices for body seals suggests that the bodywork also received a thorough refurbishment in 1997. The brakes were refurbished last year, with new discs, calipers and pads, and the dampers were replaced as well.
If you are looking for a classic 911 without the cost or compromises of a pre-impact bumper Porsche, then this is a perfect choice. And, being over 40 years old, it is exempt from road tax. It comes with the distinctive numberplate “HEK 569” which appears to have been on the car since new.
This 911 will receive a full and independent mechanical inspection and will be given 12 months’ MoT and six months’ warranty (underwritten by us) when it is sold. Part exchange and finance available.
