INTRODUCTION

After more than 90 years of Traditional Sports Car Manufacture, Morgan unveiled a modern performance sports car at the 2000 Geneva Motor Show. The Aero 8 Series 1 was a quantum leap forward by Morgan. The design team was led by Morgan's Chief Engineer and Le Mans Race Winner Chris Lawrence. Powered by a BMW 4.4ltr V8, aerodynamically lightweight aluminium body and chassis, race bred suspension and braking gave the Aero 8 one of the best power-to-weight ratios of any production sports car.

Hand-built by the skilled craftsmen at the Malvern factory the Aero 8 is a two-seat sports car combining innovation and heritage. Working with suppliers to the world of Formula One racing the very same high quality, lightweight materials and components were used to produce a Morgan with their traditional values coupled with leading edge design and technology.
