Pearlescent French Electric Blue, This stunning R5 GT Turbo remains “amazingly” in original condition and is finished in the highly desirable French Electric Blue Pearlecent., 5+ owners, Service history, Black Cloth interior, 5 seats, The paintwork is in fantastic order throughout. The external trim is also in excellent condition and has not been faded by the sun or effected by age. The interior on this is another thing to behold, the seats are again “amazingly” in great condition showing little signs of wear to the bolsters. The grey carpet throughout is in excellent condition and show no signs of wear. The door cards and dash are also in very good condition, the Instrument binnacle still retains its bright orange dials and remain un-faded by the sun and its still fitted with its original parcel shelf with no unsightly holes for speakers etc. Mechanically spot on, it is clearly evident that it has been very well looked after all of its life. The engine pulls well through the gears and the turbo boosts correctly at the right pressure. The gearbox feels tight and precise along with a low bite point for the clutch albeit with the infamous heavy pedal due to RHD cars needing a cable three times longer than its LHD counterpart! She runs on a perfect set of original Speedline 13” 5 Star alloys and are shod in a matching set of period 195/55/13 Michelin MXV tyres which surprisingly due to their age grip the road surface extremely well. First registered in February 1988 to its 1st owner in Lancashire with original Bill of Sale!!
