1995 Westfield

Red, 5+ owners, We are selling a very nice entry level Westfield SE 1700cc, Mechanically, it has a fantastic 1700 crossflow engine (Ford) which has been converted to a unleaded head and Aldon electronic ignition. It runs on twin Webber 40s Carburettors and side exit exhaust. It was set up at Aldon's own workshop and has a dyno print out of 115bhp at the flywheel. It is mated to a 4 speed GT box with short shift. estimated performance to be 0-60 in around 6.5 seconds, more than sufficient for most people, , The chassis is very solid and the suspension has adjustable Spax shocks. It is on a set of 14 inch GB minilite wheels with 185/60/14 section tyres which are all in great condition. It is a narrow wheelbase car. The last owner of the car was 6 foot and 14 stone and sat comfortably but anyone bigger may struggle to fit, The electrics have recently been refitted with new fuse boxes and separate fuses for all major items. Everything works as it should, There is some minor crazing on the nose cone and bonnet but nothing that detracts from the car. You could repaint these should you desire. Elsewhere there are some typical stone chips but nothing that is not normal for the car's age,The car is now ready for its next owner to enjoy. It has 12,500 miles on the clock which looks to be original, judging from the MOTs.
